1. Training objectives
This major cultivates all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, art and labor, has good humanities, science and professional qualities, masters the basic theories and basic knowledge of basic medicine, rehabilitation medicine, rehabilitation treatment technology, psychology and other disciplines, systematically masters the theoretical knowledge and scientific methods of audiology and speech and language rehabilitation, has a lofty sense of social responsibility and dedication, and has the ability of lifelong learning and communication, critical thinking ability, multidisciplinary cooperation ability, innovation and entrepreneurship ability and certain potential for scientific research and development. High-quality talents with clinical medical background who have good job competency and can be engaged in hearing prevention and diagnosis, evaluation and intervention, speech and language rehabilitation in hospitals, rehabilitation institutions, enterprises, scientific research institutions, etc.

It has 1 comprehensive teaching laboratory and 4 shared laboratories, which can meet the needs of experimental teaching and the needs of teaching experiments of rehabilitation majors at all levels.

The major of Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation is based on the national first-class professional rehabilitation therapy of our university, covering the fields of audiology, speech-language science and related rehabilitation medicine, and cultivating high-quality talents who can be competent in medical and technical work, and have the potential for scientific research and development and research and development. Zhejiang Rehabilitation Hospital and many other practical teaching bases inside and outside the province have integrated the cultivation of clinical practice skills of undergraduates and postgraduates in the bases, and created a highland for the cultivation of speech and hearing rehabilitation talents.
